Natural edge Maple burl bowl

This Maple bowl has a gorgeous natural edge , It compliments the beautiful swirls of the burl wood perfectly. I sanded this piece to a very smooth finish to accentuate the stark difference between the rugged robust appearance and the soft silky touch of the bowl. It is a very soulful and yet elegant combination. Perfect harmony!
