Natural edge Red Mallee burl bowl

This Red Mallee burl bowl is a gorgeous example of the rich lively pattern of this burl wood. This exotic species grew in Australia where this tree grows in abundance. The warm golden , and red tones in this piece are a perfect combination with the lines and grains in the wood. The edge is in it’s natural shape is rugged and rough but I sanded it to a smooth and soft finish.
