Ambrosia Sycamore with Turquoise Inlay bowl

This Ambrosia Sycamore is a very unusual variety. The recognizable ambrosia pattern in the wood is usually found in Maple. Ambrosia pattern in Sycamore is more subtle and delicate. The Turquoise is a beautiful combination with it. This bowl is decorative and functional , it makes for a gorgeous salad or other prepared food bowl.  After I finished turning it I sanded it to a very fine 1200 grit and oiled it with my very own combination of all natural oils.
