This big leaf Maple burl wood grew in the state of Oregon , where it is widely found. This wood is very figured with elegant lines and eyes that gives it so much character. I left the natural edge rugged and rough as a contrast to the soft and smooth sanded surface of the piece. What a sweet addition to a side table or kitchen counter display this would make.
